Telesys (UK) Ltd can provide the installation and maintenance for Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint microwave radio links from 64kbps to STM-1 links. As an alternative, we can also provide a laser link which can often be used for shorter distances typically up to 4km. We can provide a full turnkey service and product solution to our customers which will include the following services:

Line of Sight Survey:
A Line of Sight Survey is conducted to confirm that the theoretical design matches the actual terrain between the two link ends. This would involve an engineer visiting a site to confirm that there are no obstacles and a clear path exists at the required position and height.

Microwave Link Installation:
Based on the results of the surveys, We would be able to install the Antennas as the required aperture height and orientation as defined by the link planner. The outdoor unit and waveguides (if used) will be installed as per the link planners design. The installation engineer will install the radio equipment as per the general arrangement drawing provided.

Microwave Transmission Commissioning:
Once the installation is complete our engineers would verify the link alignment and check the link budget against the planners design calculations. We would also check the connections for correctness and neatness before running a Bit Error Rate (BER) check of the link for the defined link soak time.

Once the BER is passed our engineers will establish the link documentation handover pack and issue it to the client.
